Despite their peach-related moniker, Georgians slanted toward key lime pie instead. Meanwhile, Floridians stuck to their state pride, heralding key lime pie above all lesser fruit pies. Don’t come between a Floridian and their pie-related state pride!

Illinois, New Hampshire, and Vermont know how to stick with a classic, all selecting apple as their favorite fruity pie.

North Carolina and Rhode Island voted for applesauce pie, which can be amazing when the applesauce is homemade from freshly picked apples.

Surprisingly, grape pie is the most popular pie in the Northeast and second most popular overall. It is also the top fruit pie in California, the heart of American wine country. We suppose grapes in pie is a reasonable evolution of a nice Merlot.

Strawberry pie took charge in the Midwest and South, while the West had a three-way tie among banana cream, grape, and razzleberry pies. Fitting with the theme of not choosing just one fruit, razzleberry pie itself is made with blackberries, raspberries, and blackberries all mixed together.
